This is a clinic/concert in conjunction with the high school Jazz Band (More details to follow)

Rehearsal Dates for Concert #1: (All rehearsals are at Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster)
#1: Sunday, January 5, 2025 rehearsal from 1pm-3pm in the band room behind the stage.
#2: Sunday, January 12, 2025 rehearsal from 1pm-3pm in the band room behind the stage.
#3: Sunday, February 2, 2025 rehearsal from 1pm-3pm in the band room behind the stage.
#4: Sunday, February 9, 2025 rehearsal from 1pm-3pm in the band room behind the stage.
#5: Sunday, February 16, 2025 rehearsal from 1pm-3pm in the band room behind the stage.

Honors & Jazz Band Audition Date and Location:
Sunday, November 3, 2024 at Corpus Christi School at starting at 1:30pm.
Student's with the Last Name A-L arrive by 1pm (Please enter through Door A to check in.)
Student's with the Last Name M-Z arrive by 2pm (Please enter through Door A to check in.)
Jazz Band Only arrive by 1:30pm (Please enter through Door A to check in.)
Audition Fee Per Student: $5 (Must be paid in advance online. (Link will be coming in the Fall.)
**No Payments will be accepted at the door. **
Please find below the audition music for Honor Jazz Band (6th-8th grade). Those eligible are flute, alto sax, tenor sax, baritone sax, trumpet, trombone, french horn and baritone horn (treble clef use trumpet music and bass clef use trombone music). There are no clarinet parts in jazz band. All clarinets may audition playing saxophone instead.
Also, included are vibraphone, guitar, piano, bass and drum set. Each of these instruments have 2 songs for the audition. Guitar, bass and piano do not need to audition for Honor Band. Vibraphone and drum set must audition for both. Exceptional 5th graders may audition, but need permission from their school band director and Jennifer Monaghan.

Student Registration will open on October 1, 2024.
We will be using the Band App again this year. Please scan the qr code below to join the Archdiocesan Elementary Festival Group. You will receive reminders for weekend rehearsals and last minute updates due to inclement weather. This will be the mail source of communication straight to the parents for the 2024-25 school year.

8th Grade Festival Scholarship Opportunity
- To be awarded to an 8th grade student of an Archdiocesan elementary or regional school who becomes a
member and participates in the 2024-25 Honor Band, Honor Chorus, or String Orchestra.
- Must be used for tuition to a regular Archdiocesan High School (not private high school) and participate in that school’s band, choral, or string program.
- Applicant must submit an application to Jennifer Monaghan by:
- Honor Band due Jan. 26, 2024
- 7/8 Chorus due Feb. 1, 2024
- String due March 7, 2024
- Scholarship will be awarded at the 2025 Honor Band Concert, Choral Concert or String Orchestra Concert.
- Scholarship check will be sent directly to the student’s high school tuition department.
